You are a passionate and thoughtful Account Director for our creative-idea-generating, strategic-thinking, client-problem-solving community, giving a voice for our client’s business, marketing, and overall presence.  You will represent Jack Morton to our clients at a personal level through the quality of your thinking, presentation skills, relationship-building abilities, and passion for their brands/products and our business/vision/POV.

You are YOU, and we would have it no other way. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for project process from planning to creative through execution
  • Develop solutions that leverage agency offerings and are mutually beneficial for the client and the agency
  • Understand the clients' business and business issues and serve as a trusted advisor to drive effective solutions
  • Develop, write and present incremental project proposals, scopes of work, schedules and staffing plans
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way
  • Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/ action items
  • Partner with Strategy to develop and implement measurement metrics
  • Accountable for fiscal health of account(s) and overall revenue, and growth
  • Oversees collaboration of cross-disciplinary internal teams
  • Confidently negotiate with external parties in order to create successful collaborations on behalf of the client
  • Ensure that an opportunity brief is developed to set the stage for strategy development
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Creative to ensure all creative content and agency solutions address the business need
  • Contribute new ideas in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients, represent client interests and clearly communicate to internal team
  • Be a champion of extraordinary work – by providing inspiration, leadership and expertise in the agency’s offerings
  • Exceed expectations with the overall quality of the work (ideas and impact), yielding recognition from the industry, award shows and our clients
  • Grow client revenue and oversee client profitability, resulting in year-over-year growth
  • Lead new business opportunities through internal process: qualifying opportunities, lead/oversee pitch process, own deliverables (RFP or pitch deck)
  • Identify internal partnership opportunities within Jack or the Interpublic Group network and manage partner deliverables
  • Act as subject matter expert on best practices bringing to bear significant experience and insight daily
  • Ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Coach and oversee junior team members on execution of all individual job details
  • Develop talent of junior team by providing challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if…

  • 8 years of agency experience. 
  • Able to lead teams and roll up your sleeves and do the work too. 
  • Experience working with technology companies a huge plus. 
  • You’ve done experiential and love it.
