Senior Media Planner

That brings us to you. 

You are a razor-sharp Sr. Integrated Media Planner for our Boston office who is ready to take the next big step forward in their career. You will work in a client-facing role supporting the media planning process and execution of media buys, with a heavy focus on launching and optimizing paid search, paid social and native advertising.

You have extreme drive and intensity; stellar people skills and personality; great analytics chops; a passion for digital media; and an interest in driving business results. You are also a motivated professional with agency experience to gain exposure to a diverse set of work, enjoy a high level of independence, and a sense of ownership of deliverables. Additionally, you have experience in and a desire to work with B2C and B2B clients.

What you’ll be doing

 

Client Relationships 

  • Be the trusted advisor to our clients, identifying the challenges, manifesting opportunities and uncovering insights that will drive success. 
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, account, and production teams to ensure strategic delivery of agency services and client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a clear, sophisticated understanding of client organizations and how to sell extraordinary work within them and grow relationships.
  • Command a presence with senior clients, successfully influencing them to think big.

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Create media plans, with a special emphasis on paid social, digital and programmatic
  • Manage integrated strategy and execution, with a specific interest in learning all areas of marketplace - social and programmatic digital (RTB, trading desks/DSP/DMP) strategies
  • Monitor industry changes and competitive landscape to help drive our strategy and execution

Media Buying & Optimization

  • Manage the day-to-day media buy stewardship across channels, including authorizations, specs, timelines, and budgets
  • Analyze campaigns and recommend tactical changes to maximize campaign performance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, publishers to ensure an effective creation and implementation of campaigns

Ad Technology & Serving Management

  • Use of ad technology, native ad platforms and ad serving tools, such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics, etc.
  • Gather and analyze campaign performance data regularly, and present insights and proposals
  • Tag, traffic, and QA all media assets
  • Test and learn across new and existing platforms, with eye towards scaling testing and optimization capabilities

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if…

  • 6-10 years of experience managing digital media planning/buying
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of ad technology and ad serving tools, such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics, etc.
  • Experience buying ads on key social and digital platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Bing, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Ability to work at high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with advanced Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional project management skills with a sense of urgency to meet deliverables
