GREAT Festival 2015

Inspired by the long history of international partnership between China and Great Britain, Jack Morton created an art installation to tell the stories between these two great countries.

The GREAT Festival of Creativity is a celebration of Britain’s innovative thinking and inspirational insights. As principal sponsor for the event, HSBC faced the challenge of creating a unique space that would showcase itself as enabling business and trade connections between China and England.

Inspired by the long history of international partnership between China and Great Britain, Jack Morton created an art installation to tell the stories between these two great countries. The towering structure made of framed modern video and vintage imagery was a testament to HSBC’s success in China. To complement the installation, Jack Morton created a tea house where people could take a break and taste classic Chinese tea in a modern setting.

Prince William visited the HSBC exhibition, generating positive media coverage around the world and reinforcing HSBC as a leading global bank.
