Jon Stewart’s returns to broadcast on Apple TV+

Jon Stewart is back! Now on Apple TV+, Stewart brings the full force of his satirical intellect and earnest activism to this weekly show which explores a single problem from all sides. Empowering the voices of those affected and highlighting those who are working to solve the issue.

The program features a mix of segments, including panel discussions, interviews and field segments, with Jon again in New York City in front of a live studio audience.

The show is set is an industrial loft space that has been de-constructed, with walls, windows, beams and a skylight floating in separate pieces in the midst of a darkened studio.

At the heart of the design is a rectangular platform topped with wooden planks and an illuminated edge. Here, a bespoke table is Jon’s rallying point which can comfortably accommodate Jon by himself, or up to (5) additional guests for a panel conversation.

A large LED display floats behind the main platform as a way to introduce supportive content for the commentary and conversation.

Impact

The set forms a loose frame for the discussion to challenge the status quo and implore working with a fresh perspective.
