General Motors has named Jack Morton Worldwide agency of record for brand experiences.

Jack Morton has been retained by GM to provide the strategic, creative, design, planning and activation services to deliver GM’s brand experiences. Jack Morton anticipates additional growth of staff and resources in 2011. Additionally, in summer 2011, the agency will relocate its office from suburban Troy, Michigan, to One Woodward in downtown Detroit, across the street from GM’s world headquarters.

The AOR scope encompasses work for GM that Jack Morton has traditionally been responsible for in events and communications for key audiences and constituencies, including consumers at auto shows, the Chevrolet and Cadillac dealer bodies and GM corporate employees, as well as national, regional and local sponsorship program selection and consumer activation programs.

Josh McCall, Chairman and CEO of Jack Morton, commented: “We’re truly gratified by the confidence GM has shown in Jack Morton and are looking forward to raising the bar in the areas of creative and strategic planning.  We’re excited GM has selected us to increase effectiveness and improve efficiencies in this most important marketing services category.”
