A lot of talk is going on about shopper marketing, and for good reason. A recent article on AdAge.com predicts spending on Shopper marketing will trump digital spending, although the two channels are being combined more and more. Of the CPG executives responding to the Booz/GMA survey, 83% said their companies plan to increase spending on shopper marketing over the next three years, and 55% said their companies plan to hike such spending 5% or more annually. None planned a decrease in shopper-marketing spending.
