…stores, restaurants, art installations…but a Pop-Up hotel opens ups an interesting opportunity. The internet phenom airbnb was created around this idea that there’s a great need for a high volume of accommodations for a finite period of time.

Not only could brands use the opportunity to integrate into sponsorship activations (imagine a pop-up hotel sponsored by evian during Coachella), BUT (and I’d argue perhaps more importantly) it also provides a greater chance for interesting design—a practice in function, aesthetic and sustainability.
