Mobilizing possibility for Samsung
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is like the combined Super Bowl, World Cup and Academy Awards for device makers. For its 2013 CES keynote address, Samsung Electronics wanted to highlight the role of components as the engine behind innovation across the mobile landscape.
Showing how Samsung was making great leaps in user experience through its cutting-edge processors, displays and memory solutions was the message we wanted to deliver. To distill all the complexities of the work Samsung was doing, we narrowed it to a theme of “Mobilizing Possibility.” We focused on what Samsung enabled people to do rather than the industrial product story.
The magic of great components came through every element – augmented reality VIP invitations, video projection graphics, live performances, spoof videos and a very special appearance by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, founder of the William J. Clinton Foundation. Samsung partners shared the stage with Samsung executives further bolstering the credibility of the brand’s strong, innovative future.

Tech fans and media praised the experience. Said the Wall Street Journal Digits blog, “A speech by the head of semiconductor development at Samsung Electronics might seem like a snoozer. But the South Korean giant kept the Consumer Electronics Show crowd entertained with technology.”
