Expense Tracking Tour

Concur’s problem: small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners, the target for their Breeze expense reporting solution, didn’t know it existed—and like most people, they had a negative view of reporting expenses. After we checked out Concur’s cloud-based expense-tracking solution, we knew the key was to get business owners to demo Breeze—truly the opposite of the frustrating, analog experience they’re used to. Our idea: make expense reports hip.

The $61,345 Expense Tracking, Not Stacking campaign showed that Breeze can go with you wherever you are. The centerpiece: a club of Concur brand ambassadors (“Breezers”) rode their Harleys on a cross-country meet-and-greet adventure, demo-ing Breeze at tradeshows, conventions and places where SMBs do business. They used Breeze to buy SMBs $61,345 worth of free supplies and tracked it all online and on Facebook. Results included 26,000 demos, almost a million impressions and hundreds of tweets and blog posts, as well as great owned media content for promoting Breeze.
