On September 15th and 16th, Jack Morton Chicago hosted the Ron McEwan Award recipient, Rachael Lee, from the Jack Morton Sydney office. What better way to show her a good time than by hosting one of our favorite activities, a themed potluck lunch! We decided on the theme College Taco Day. Everyone was responsible for bringing an ingredient to support the potluck. We brought the “college” element of the theme to life by celebrating our alma maters, college mascots and rivalries.

Recipe for success

  • 1 snack size bag of Frito Lays corn chips (crushed before opening)
  • 1 hefty serving spoon of cooked ground beef
  • 1 serving of every possible taco topping that you can fit in the bag

Mix thoroughly, and enjoy with your fellow colleagues as you watch (and, in some cases, relive) college football highlights.

The potluck lunch was the best thing ever! I’ve told everyone about it in the Sydney office, and I’m going to do my best to replicate back here in the coming weeks. – Rachael Lee
